PARAM SHIVAYE- Developing India The first Supercomputer designed and built under National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) by C-DAC at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi was dedicated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to the scientific and research community of the nation in order to strengthen the research and development activities in the country. NAMED AS PARAM SHIVAYE WHAT IS SUPER COMPUTER? A supercomputer is a computer with a high level of performance as compared to a general-purpose computer . The performance of a supercomputer is commonly measured in floating-point operations per second ( FLOPS ) instead of million instructions per second (MIPS).
